Remote Learning

It is no longer a legal duty for schools to  provide remote education. The guidance from government suggests schools maintain capabilities to deliver high quality education in some circumstances “as a short term measure and as a last resort.”

 

We will provide remote education for students off with Covid for up to 5 days (a limited duration) from day 3 onwards of an absence. This is where the child is absent but is well enough to be educated (i.e infectious but well). We will not provide remote education for the first 2 days of absence.

 

This remote education may in the form of printed resources if requested to access lesson materials or staff may post activities and links to websites via Class Dojo.

 

Please ensure that school is aware that your child will be off each day to maintain a constant communication and to ensure that work is provided where necessary.
