Our Curriculum in Action

At St Matthew's, curriculum subjects are taught separately so that they develop a true appreciation of the subject. They analyse artefacts as historians and consult topographical maps as geographers.

Furthermore, a knowledge and skills progression map is provided for each subject area- this is our ‘learning journey: showing the destination and what will be taught.’ Inter-connectivity between subjects are made to enhance learning further.
