Ethos Group

We are the St Matthew's Ethos Group. Together, we are a team who aim to be role models to the rest of the school.  We always try to look out for people in school who are sharing our Christian Values. If they are really showing off our values, we might even give them a dojo.

Every week we complete activities with the wider school during a lunch time to promote the School Values of Success, Hope, Inspire, Nurture and Empower.  We try to work with different key stages and classes throughout the year. 

In the Autumn term, we had a ‘pop up prayer’ event and children shared prayers to decorate our Prayer Tree in the playground.  The members of Ethos group have made posters of well-known poems to be displayed in our CDAT schools.  We have also made links with our local MP and designed some Christmas cards to share with our community.  We look forward to continuing to share the school values.
